RBI Assistant Exam Pattern & Syllabus
RBI Assistant 2022 Exam consists three-stage process for final selection.
- Phase I (RBI Assistant Prelims Exam)
- Phase II (RBI Assistant Mains Exam)
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern (Phase-I)
RBI Assistant Prelims Exam (Phase–I) will be held in the month of April 2022.
RBI Assistant Phase-I Exam Pattern has the following sections. Check the given table for a number of questions and duration.

- There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Phase I.
- There will be 100 questions from 3 sections; English language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability
- The time duration of the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam is 60 minutes (each section for 20 minutes).
- Subject to the criteria mentioned at above, all the candidates who clear Phase I shall be shortlisted for Phase II.Prelims exam is qualifying in nature.
RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern (Phase-II)
An online examination consisting of two papers of 200 marks each will be held on May 2022(Phase-II). The papers shall be as follows:-

- Candidates shortlisted for Phase II will be issued new Hall Tickets.
- There will be 200 questions from 5 sections; English language, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Reasoning Ability
- There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Phase II.
- Candidates qualifying Mains Exam will be called for Language Proficiency Test and marks will be counted in preparing the merit list.
Note- All question papers (in both the Phases, except the test of English) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) 2022
If you cracked the RBI Assistant Mains Exam 2022, you must go through a Language proficiency test according to the state you are applying for.If you are not proficient in the local language, you will be disqualified.
