Aditya Srivastava gets the first rank in UPSC IAS Exam 2023
Aditya Srivastava has topped the UPSC IAS Exam 2023.The IIT Kanpur graduate topped the list of 1016 candidates recommended for appointment to IAS, IPS.
- Srivastava’s academic achievements are remarkable. He graduated from CMS Lucknow’s Aliganj branch, where he reportedly achieved an outstanding score of 95% in his Class 12th exams.
- His academic excellence persisted at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), where he pursued a dual degree in B.Tech and M.Tech, with the possibility of earning a gold medal.
- Aditya Srivastava’s accomplishment is particularly noteworthy given his previous attempt at the Civil Services Exam. He secured the 236th rank in the 2022 UPSC CSE and chose to join the Indian Police Service (IPS). Presently, he is undergoing training at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad.
- His determination and resilience, coupled with the unwavering support of his family (his father, Ajay Srivastava, serves as an assistant audit officer at the Comptroller and Auditor General of India), undoubtedly played a pivotal role in catapulting him to the top rank in 2023.
