Correct Answer

1. D. ‘viable’ is followed by ‘for’ not with ‘of’
2. A. Use ‘such’ in place of ‘much’
3. E. No error.
4. C ‘A lack of’ is the correct phrasal expression to be used here.
5. C. Use ‘was’ in place of ‘were’ as the subject is ‘every one’ which is third person singular.
6. A. Use ‘for’ in place of ‘from’ because in present perfect continuous tense we use ‘for’ for representing ‘period of time’
7. C. Want’ is a stative verb and it should not be used in the progressive form.
8. B. Use ‘has’ in place of ‘have’ because the subject is singular in number. 
9. D. ‘a’ will not be used before ‘scientist’ as when the two nouns describing a same person are
   joined by and , as well as etc, then article is used only before the FIrst noun.
10. B. Use of article ‘a’ is not required here. Remove it to make the syntax correct.
