1.Uprooted (verb) (उखाड़ा हुआ)– pull (something, especially a tree or plant) out of the ground

6.Infant (noun)(शिशु)– a very young child or baby

Synonyms – toddler, bairn

Antonyms – adult

7.Portending (verb)(संकेत मिलता है)– be a sign or warning that (something, especially something momentous or calamitous) is likely to happen

10.Humanitarian (adjective)(मानवीय)– concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare

11.Dominated  (verb) (बोलबाला)– have power and influence over

Synonyms – prevail, monopolize

Antonyms – follow, submit

12.Backdrop (noun)(पृष्ठभूमि)– a painted cloth hung at the back of a theatre stage as part of the scenery

13.Protracted (adjective)(दीर्घ– lasting for a long time or longer than expected or usual

Synonyms – elongated, dragging

Ex: There was a moment of protracted silence.

14.Attrition (noun)(उदासीनता)– the process of reducing something’s strength or effectiveness through sustained attack or pressure.

15.Shrink (verb)(हटना) – become or make smaller in size or amount

19.Credible (adjective)(विश्वसनीय)– able to be believed; convincing
