Teacher Eligibility Test is the minimum eligibility criteria to become a government teacher in the central or state level school. 1. Understand the TET Exam- TET is conducted in two-level, namely paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for primary level teachers (classes 1- 5) whereas Paper 2 is for upper primary level teachers ( classes 6-10).

For paper 1, you need to have scored minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and must have passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year diploma or 4 -year Bachelor of Elementary education. For paper 2, graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appeared in 2-year diploma or 4-year Bachelor in Elementary education.

3. Know TET Syllabus- The complete understanding of the TET syllabus is vital for the candidates who are appearing for the exams.
