Centre Sanctioned Funds For Jal Jeevan Mission In Odisha, Meghalaya, Assam & Bihar
- The Centre has approved Rs 812 crores for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (Har Ghar Jal) in Odisha for the financial year.
- Jal Shakti Ministry said, this allocation is a significant jump from last year’s allocation of 297 crore rupees. Out of 81 lakh rural households in Odisha, State Government has planned to provide over 16 lakh household connections in 2020-21.

- The IndusInd Bank today launched a mobile application based facility where customer can open current bank account in just few hours. The new facility can be used to open current accounts for all kinds of businesses including proprietorship, partnership as well as private and public limited companies, the bank said.
- Gone are those days when you have go to bank with your Know Your Customer (KYC) documents to open a bank account. Equipped with the bank’s “Indus Corporate” mobile app, bank officials can now capture and verify information about customers and their businesses in real-time, the private sector lender said.
